Celebrating 25 Years of Sweet Tradition: The Grand Floridian Gingerbread House Now Open!
The holiday season has officially arrived at Walt Disney World, and with it, the iconic Grand Floridian Gingerbread House has opened its doors for its 25th anniversary! Located in the majestic lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, this beloved annual tradition is a must-visit for any Disney fan.

A Sweet Masterpiece
This year's gingerbread house is a stunning display of culinary artistry, featuring:
- 10,000+ pieces of gingerbread baked with 1050 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of flour, and 600 pounds of confectioners' sugar
- 700 pounds of chocolate decorations
- White chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, and sugar poinsettias
- An 88-pound white chocolate Santa Claus
- 25 hidden Mickeys in honor of the 25th anniversary

While the basic house design remains the same, the talented bakery team has added new touches, including:
- Character-themed trees, featuring Figment in his holiday sweater
- A 25th anniversary cake in the attic

When to Visit
The Gingerbread House is open daily from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm, offering plenty of holiday treats freshly made by the Grand Floridian Bakery. It will remain open until January 1st, so there’s ample time to experience this enchanting display. I highly recommend visiting this stunning masterpiece if you're on property—it's truly amazing!
