Les Chefs de France - Dining Review

Located in the France Pavilion at the World Showcase of Epcot, Les Chefs de France is a family-friendly brasserie.
The restaurant brings a touch of Parisian charm to Epcot, offering a menu filled with classic French dishes that cater to both adults and children.

The restaurant serves lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and dinner from 4:00 p.m. to 8:55 p.m.

Disney Dining Plan: 1 table service credit. 

Les Chefs de France has a large dining room in the middle and two sunrooms with beautiful window views into EPCOT.

While it’s cozy but darker in the middle, the sunroom on the front side of the restaurant has beautiful lighting and views of Epcot.

Service could definitely be improved. We didn’t feel that the servers were as friendly as in other restaurants we’ve been to, and we also felt rushed to leave.

Securing a reservation is not hard at all; you can easily snag a last-minute reservation.

You can enjoy à la carte French cuisine or select the prix fixe menu option (Menu Français for $65.95), which includes: One Appetizer & Choice of one selected entrée (Filet de saumon, Gratin de macaroni, Rataouille sur quinoa, Poulet fermier roti, Boeuf Bourguignon) & One Dessert & Choice of one glass of: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon Georges Duboeuf, Non Alcoholic Beverage.

From the À la Carte menu, we got:

Appetizer

Soupe à l’oignon gratinée $13.95

French Onion Soup topped with Gruyère cheese.

Gratin de macaroni  $26.95

Macaroni baked with cream and Gruyère cheese.

Dessert

Assiette de Sorbets du jour $13.95

Strawberry, Raspberry and Mango Sorbets, fresh fruits and lemon madeleine.

For the Prix Fixe Meal ($65.95), we chose:

Appetizer

Tartare de saumon legerement fume, sauce a l’aneth (regular price $17.50)

Raw Salmon tartare lightly smoked, cucumber, dill sauce.

Entrée 

Boeuf Bourguignon, linguine (regular price $34.95)

Braised beef in Cabernet, baby onions, carrots, pasta.

Dessert

Gateau Opera (regular price $14.95)

Coffee sponge, coffee whipped cream, chocolate ganache, vanilla ice cream.

Beverage

Choice of one glass of wine (regular price $7.95 / glass)

Cabernet Sauvignon Georges Duboeuf.

Les Chefs de France is a charming restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Some of the dishes are truly delicious, and although the service might not be the best on the property, it’s still a great choice if you’re in the mood for some tasty French cuisine.
